L’Arctique Noir Ring

L'Arctique Noir is presence in shadow. VVS D black moissanite set flush across a sculptural band of 925 sterling silver, finished in multi-layer black PVD. The circle is seamless, the surface uninterrupted, the light it meets absorbed and returned in fragments. At 6mm, it reads as architectural rather than ornamental. Worn alone or stacked against L'Arctique, it carries its own weight.

The Stone

VVS D black moissanite was chosen for L'Arctique Noir for a specific quality: depth. Where clear moissanite disperses light, black moissanite absorbs it, producing a contained intensity that reads closer to obsidian than to conventional gemstones. At VVS D clarity, the internal structure is flawless. The blackness is pure rather than cloudy. Every stone is lab-created with full traceability, a standard of consistency that mined material cannot guarantee.
